Every Mood
Every Mood was first started as a “need” to complete a project, but quickly became something I loved and enjoyed making. As a web designer, I am no stranger to mobile-first design, but thinking “app friendly” was a stretch and proved to be a real challenge at first.
The app’s purpose really stemmed from the intentions of tracking habits and emotions with the idea of making a better tomorrow. With this app, you can set goals, customize your experience, and talk to real professionals at the click of a button. This would be your one-stop for all things mental health including resources, calendars, and support chats.
When envisioning this app, I thought of things I would want if I were “stuck” in my day to day. I created mydesigns with this in mind and used lighthearted colors, animated characters, and an airy feeling overall.
The Logo
One thing I wanted to focus on in the logo was creating something that could be slimmed down to simply an app icon. By focusing on strong shapes I was able to create a logo that was both aesthetic and transferable.
Using the double o's in 'mood' to emphasize the purpose of the app, both through color and shape, created a unique possibility to recognize the purpose of the product simply from the name.

Why wait till tomorrow for a better today?
Every Mood is a fictional brand created for the completion of a class.
